Board of Directors
The Center for the Commercialization of Electric Technologies (CCET) Board of Directors sets overall goals and policy direction, has approval powers over the organization’s budget and oversees CCET operations. Each Governing Participant shall be entitled to designate, appoint and elect one Director to the Board.
The board meets quarterly. Board meetings, except for executive sessions, are open by invitation.
Paul Hudson, Chairman of the Board
Paul Hudson currently serves as the Chairman of the Board for the Center for the Commercialization of Electric Technologies (CCET). Paul Hudson has been an active participant in, and observer of, the extraordinary transition of the Texas electricity marketplace over the past 15 years. Founder and principal of two vibrant consulting practices, he currently works with a variety of energy-related interests, preferring to focus on innovative, high growth start-ups.
Prior to entering private practice, Mr. Hudson was a gubernatorial appointee to the three-member Public Utility Commission of Texas, serving from August 2003 until September of 2008 as Commissioner and Chairman. He also served sequentially in a variety of other policy roles including as Director of Policy and Deputy Director of Policy to the Governor of Texas. He also served as Advisor to Commissioner Brett Perlman of the Public Utility Commission of Texas and as a member of the Policy development staff under former PUCT and FERC Chair Pat Wood.
Mr. Hudson currently serves on the Board of Directors of CLEAResult, an energy efficiency technology provider and is Chairman of the Board of the Center for the Commercialization of Electric Technologies. He has previously served on the Board of Directors of the Electric Reliability Council of Texas, the independent operator of the Texas power grid.
CCET Public Board Meeting
Oncor Electric Delivery hosted CCET's public board meeting on October 28th, in Dallas, Texas. CCET will be holding its next Public Board Meeting at NRG offices located in Houston, Texas on Friday, February 24, 2012.
