The CCET Board of Directors met in Austin, Texas and set the direction for technology development and commercialization for the organization. A draft technology roadmap was presented and six priority projects were identified. Avistar joined CCET as an Affiliate member. Approximately 25 people attended.
September 28, 2005 Organizational Meeting
The organizational meeting of CCET was in Austin, Texas on September 28, 2006. The founding members; Don Cortez, CenterPoint Energy, Steve Houle, TXU Electric Delivery, Billy Berny, American Electric Power and Peter Schulmeyer, Freescale Semiconductors elected officers and adopted Articles of Organization and Bylaws. Officers elected were Robert Howden, President, Milton Holloway, Chief Operating Officer, Diane Hasell, Secretary and Tom Rose, Treasurer. Classes of membership and membership fees were established and a budget for the organization was adopted.
