Wholesale Technical Advisory Group
Overview
The CCET Wholesale Technical Advisory group is called Wholesale Market Stakeholder Group (WMSG). WMSG is comprised of CCET participants and makes recommendations to the Board of Directors.
The objectives of the WMSG include:
- To identify the critical technology, market and policy limitations to a well-functioning wholesale electric market in Texas;
- To recommend projects and activities that promote innovative solutions to the Texas wholesale electric market problems.
Meetings
CCET Wholesale Market Stakeholder Group meets once every quarter. The Wholesale Market Stakeholders Group held its meeting on April 28, 2011 at the ERCOT facilities in Taylor, Texas.
